Questions & Clarity
What is coaching?
Coaching is a forward-focused, creative partnership designed to help you bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. Unlike consulting or teaching, a coach doesn't just hand you answers; instead, through powerful questioning, deep listening, and evidence-based frameworks, they help you uncover your own internal wisdom, professional clarity, and personal resilience. It is about personal agency and lasting behavioral change.
When do I know coaching is for me?
Coaching is for you if you are ready to take action and curious about what is possible. You might feel “stuck,” facing a major transition, or simply seeking more alignment between your daily life and your core values. If you are willing to lean into self-reflection and experiment with new ways of thinking and being, coaching will be a highly effective tool for your growth.
How can I know we’ll be a good fit?
The coaching relationship is built on trust and psychological safety. This is why I offer a Connection Call. This is a complimentary conversation where we discuss your goals and my approach. You’ll get a direct feel for my coaching style, and we’ll determine together if working together might make sense.
What does a coaching session look like?
Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes, conducted via Google Meet. We start by checking in on your progress, set a specific focus for the hour, and then dive deep into the work. You can expect a mix of exploration, challenging assumptions, and creative brainstorming. Every session ends with clear, measurable actions or experiments for you to try before we meet next.
What is the difference between a coach, therapist, and consultant?
Think of it this way: Therapy often explores the past to heal wounds; Consulting provides expert answers and strategies; Coaching looks at the present and the future, assuming that you are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. While there is overlap, coaching is uniquely focused on self-directed learning and immediate forward movement.
What should I expect from you?
From me, you can expect radical candor balanced with empathy. I will be your champion and your mirror, reflecting back what you might not see and holding you accountable to the goals you set. I bring curiosity, zero judgment, and a commitment to your professional and personal expansion.
